End of the season and closing

With anticipation and much patience visitors and staff/volunteers were rewarded with magical close up views of a young pine martin as he fed from the hide window feeder, His triangular face and stubby nose was repeatedly pressed against the window. What a bonnie but cheeky beastie. He used his nose to lift the lid and helped himself to peanuts. We all sat for 30 mins (everyone holding their breath) watching. He wasnt long gone when 2 Red squirrels appeared followed by a jay then 2 young Great spotted woodpeckers.

Closing...

We are closing for the season on Sunday 11th of Sept with a wee party to thank all who have volunteered and supported the Huntly Peregrine Wildwatch. Barbecue, games, face painting, story telling and drinks. All public are welcome to join us and celebrate an exciting season.
