A feel of Autumn about the site again this morning. A wee nip in the air, a heavy dew adorning all the cobwebs in the grass highlighting their presence and that distinctly Autumn smell.
Here and there the first few golden coloured leaves are starting to appear among the profusion of shades of green and the beautiful patches of purple and pink heather and knapweed.
Adding to the rich tapestry of colours are the fungi, beginning to pop up- bright scarlet and white, russet brown, and subtle fawn. Some having been nibbled at by creatures have indented edges or holes have the appearance of modern sculptures.
The nature is so beautiful and varied. Add to this our brilliantly entertaining wildlife and it’s just too good to miss. Pop in soon and see it for yourself.
